Grand Opening – Come see our new studio!

If you’ve been reading this blog for the past few weeks, you may have noticed we’re pretty proud of our new studio. And with good reason – it’s a lovely place that makes us happy and gets us dancing every time we walk in.

What makes it so great, you say? I am so glad you asked!

  1. We’re right downtown, across the street from the Rideau Centre, at 111A Rideau Street. That makes us the most accessible dance studio in town by public transit. We’re also in a beautiful heritage building and steps away from the Byward Market.
  2. We’re honoured to be hosted by National Capital Dance Educators, who share our love of dance and are home to a thriving community of dancers, as well as a spacious school with all the facilities we could ask for.
  3. The Azúcar! studio itself (Studio #5) is 800 square feet of beautiful sprung hardwood floor which will make you want to spin and twirl while protecting your knees and ankles from too much pressure. The high ceiling and full wall of windows make for a bright and pleasant space to be in.
  4. We’ve done our best to outfit the studio with glassless shatterproof mirrors (on order, soon to be delivered!), a built-in sound system, a minimum of furniture and a bit of nature to give you the best learning environment, while enjoying your surroundings.

And because photos express all this better than words, here is a glimpse of where you could take your next dancing steps:

Want to see the place in person and try out our amazing floor? Join us on September 15 for our Grand Opening! There will be free classes, great music, and we’ve also got a few more surprises up our sleeves.
